The Hinsdale Ski Team is open to all ages and abilities.
Ski Team practice is held every Monday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Lake City Ski Hill. Our certified coach is Henry Woods of Lake City.
Each year, we travel to other small ski areas such as Kendall Mountain in Silverton, and Wolf Creek near Pagosa Springs, for friendly competition with other skiers.
Everyone is welcome to join the team, whether you ski or not. It's a great way to support an effort that gets kids and adults outside, having fun, doing something active, and learning about sportsmanship and teamwork.
Ski Team members are encouraged to join the United States Ski & Snowboard Association (USSA), allowing them to race competitively at ski areas across the state and region.
